Prevent the Leading  Causes of Death and be Healthy

Most important key to reduce the risk factors that lead to deaths due to life-threathening diseases and accidents are healthy active concept. Healthy active concept will give you a richer and longer life and living style. Our aim is to give the majör killers of our time and take necessary actions to reduce the risks.

Cancer

Major risk factors are tobacco, diet and ultraviolet radiation (heavy sunlight etc).

Secondary risk factors are high estrogen levels, harmful chemicals, obesity, excessive X rays etc.

Strategies to prevent Cancer

Stop tobacco use.

Eat plentiful wholegrain cereals (including more fiber), fruits, vegetables , limit fat, limit salt and limit sweet foods.

Protect your skin from heavy sun light.

Keep your body weight ideal. Lose your extra weight. Make regular moderate vigorous intensity level of physical activity at least 150 minutes per week. If you increase this to 300-420 minutes per week this will be best for your
health, 
body weight, flexibility, living cost, mental balance and body posture.

 

Strokes

Major Risk Factors that you can control against Stroke are heart disease, smoking, small strokes, high blood pressure, high red blood cell count etc.

Secondary Risk Factors for Strokes are physical inactivity, obesity and overweight, high level alcohol consumption, oral contraseptive usage with smoking etc.

Strategies to Prevent Strokes

Stop tobacco use.

Limit alcohol use.

Exercise at least 30 minutes for moderate vigorous intensity level physical activity per day.

Eat plentiful wholegrain cereals, fruits, vegetables and consume less fat, salt, alcohol, sweets and prefer foods less in saturated fats and cholesterol.

Heart Disease

Major Risk Factors that you can control are high cholesterol level, tobacco use (smoking), high blood pressure and physical inactivity.

Strategies to Prevent Heart Disease

Check your complete lipid or fat profile and if your cholesterol level is high consult to your doctor.

Make healthy eating and limit your intake of foods that high in cholesterol, fat and saturated fatty acids. Limit your intake of sweets and salt. Eat plentiful wholegrain cereals (rich in fiber), fruits and vegetables.

Stop tobacco use or smoking.

Check your blood pressure regularly. If it is high consult to your physician.

Do at least 30 minutes moderate vigorous intensity level physical activity per day.

Keep your body weight in ideal. If you are obese or overweight you should maintain ideal weight by doing regular exercise starting from low level  to 300-420 minutes per week in moderate vigorous intensity level.

Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (ODP)

Major controllable risk afctors are smoking (tobacco use) and air pollution.

Strategies to Prevent Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (ODP).

Stop smoking tobacco.

Be away from air pollution and second hand smoking.

Accidents

Major controllable risk factors are drinking, drinking and driving, sleepy driving and not wearing safety belts.

Strategies to Prevent Accidents

Drive in high attention.

Do not drink and drive.

Do not sleep less and drive.

Wear a safety belt when you are driving.

Be in high responsibility when you drive.
