Healthy nutrition starts during pregnancy. It continues during breastfeeding. Mother’s milk is the best food and mothers should try to give at least 2 years to babies. This is a bas efor healthy nutrition. Mothers and parents should motivate their children for healthy eating and physical activity during their growth and development period. This is necessary for good mental balance and development.The parents should also be a role model for their children or kids and play with them.
The children should be in a healthy active action plan. Therefore parents can apply;
Give plenty of wholegrain cereals each day.
Give plenty of milk and milk products each day. They can have moderate fa tor low fat.
Give 5 or more fruits and vegetables each day.
Breakfast should be make each day.
Give each day lean meat, poultry without skin and bones, fish without bones.
Don’t give more sugary or sweetend drinks
They should have a limited screen time as 2 hours or les for TV, video games, computer etc) each day.
They should make regular daily exercise or physical activity at least 1 hour or more.
Go walking together, play football, make something together to motivate them.
Be role model to them.
Make fun, play with them.
Encourage them for living in a healthy active lifestyle.
